SLIDING WINDOWS
Garden Window
On garden windows, opening window options include sliding
windows as well as the standard
awning and casement front opening windows.
Options:
Garden windows can be fabricated in a variety of
ways : |

Free standing box windows. |

Box windows with wall under as illustrated right. |
• |
Full height waterfall windows, garden windows that run right
down to the floor. These windows would be fitted with transom
and fixed lowlights |
As full height windows increase the floor plan area council approval
may be required. |

Opening Sashes:
Two panel type Slide-Fixed ('SF') or 'FS' or three panel
'SFS' can be built into the front of the garden window.
It's also possible to make garden windows with awnings
or casements or
fixed lights only. |

Base Options:
Free standing box type windows have two sill options,
the 50mm suits compressed cement or tile base lining
where the 88mm (illustrated lower right) will accept
kitchen bench top. |
