Low Ramp: The sill has been designed with a very low ramp up and over angle.

Shallow Recess: The main door running rail recess has been reduced to almost nothing.

Protected Running Rails: The long term performance of glass and accompanying flydoors is linked to the condition of the sill running rails. For this reason we have recessed the running rails into the sill.

Anti Skid Threshold: The extruded sill threshold has inbuilt ribs to increase grip.

Performance: Doors fitted with Nursing Home sill should be fitted in protected areas with at least 1600mm eaves overhang as this low line sill has been designed around wheel chair access not water resistance.

Installation: It’s critical that the sill is recessed into the floor/slab, refer slab recess installation details.
