Sound Reduction

This heavy duty sliding window with large diameter wheels is capable of carrying thick laminated glass or Insulating Glass Units. This thicker glass in turn gives higher sound reduction as shown in the table below.

Windows were tested at the National Acoustics Laboratories, Chatswood, NSW.
For higher numbers consider using the Magnum™ awning window.
Vantage have carried out extensive tests on most of their windows and doors with a variety of glass thicknesses as shown on the Sound Reduction page.
