The standard Series 601 sliding window has splayed thresholds (fillers) closing off the external recesses in front of the opening sash.

If flyscreens are fitted these splayed fillers are left off / removed and a custom splayed flyscreen specifically designed for this window fits into the recess. Series 601 is an upmarket window and to complete the package we have designed a quality splayed screen to match.

We can also offer a matching splayed barrier frame that will accept expanded aluminium mesh.

Custom Turnbuckle
The Series 601 custom flyscreen is secured to mullion with secretly fixed combination turnbuckle / finger grip.
•	Splayed good looks match the window sidelight.
•	There are no visible screws or rivets.
•	No gaps for the bugs and spiders to get through.
•	No rust as retention clips are nylon and the assembly screws are stainless steel.
