Series 613 - Glazing Options
Magnum™ double-hung
sashes and fixed sidelights and lowlights can be glazed
with a large variety of glass thicknesses as shown
below.
With
single glazed windows you could fit wide verandahs
to keep the sun off the windows (reduce thermal transmission).

Consider using double glazing as shown below right.
Single Glazing: The standard single glazed sash will accept glass up to 6.38mm thick.
Double Glazing: The optional double glazed sash will accept 20mm thick insulating glass units.
Double glazing is more suited to thermal transmission reduction. For sound reduction fit 6.38mm laminated glass into single glazed sashes.
Fixed sidelights lowlights and highlights will accept glass from 4mm to 24mm thick.
