To Open: To hinge the lower sash lift approximately 40mm release both top latches located in the sash top corners and hinge the sash in. Take care with large/heavy sashes.
To hinge the upper sash lower approximately 40mm release latches and hinge the sash in. The lower sash should already be hinged open before hinging the top sash.
Sash Latches: The top corners of both sashes are secured to jambs with spring loaded nylon latches.
When closing these tilt sashes make sure the latches engage.
