

Sound Reduction
This
window has a couple of major features including
the ability to accept thick laminated glass for
sound reduction.
Windows were tested at the National Acoustics Laboratories,
Chatswood, NSW.

The tables below show how the numbers improve as the glass
thickness increases.

Vantage have carried out extensive tests on most of their windows
and doors with a variety of glass thicknesses as shown on the Sound
Reduction page.

A 10dB(A) improvement in the STC rating equates to halving the
perceived noise level.
