ENTRY DOORS |
| Flydoors |
Security: Locking a barrier type screen door into a metal frame will be significantly stronger than the traditional timber frame. Basically the security of the door comes down to how good the lock and hinge fixing points are. Metal is stronger than timber ! |
Built-in: The Vantage Entry door frame has a built-in second recess to accept the flydoor. |
Clean Lines: Having this recess ensures that the flydoor fits snugly into the main frame without the need of additional trims or rivets. |
Reinforced Fixing Points: The framing has been thickened up at the hinge fixing points and the locking area for added strength and security. |
Drainage: The sill framing is also recessed to allow the flydoor to overlap the tread area. This allows any water that gets between the doors to drain away without leaving an unsightly gap under the door. This picture also shows the drainage hole out of the sump area under the main door. |
Silent Closing: The screen door closes onto a high performance co-extruded Santoprene seal to prevent metal to metal contact. |
