Glass Options

ClearVENT™ sashes can be glazed with:

• 5mm toughened or annealed glass
• 6mm toughened or annealed glass
• 6.38mm laminated glass

Note: 6mm toughened is significantly stronger than 6.38mm laminated as shown on the performance page. 6.38mm has one advantage over 6mm toughened in that if the glass is broken, laminated glass will in most cases only crack. So the weight of the second panel is still supported.

Fixed Light Glazing Options
The beaded fixed frames can be fitted with a variety of glazing beads that will allow glazing from 4 to 24 mm thick.

Fixed Light Bead Options
Splayed beads vertical and horizontal.
Glass thickness up to 16mm.
Square beads vertical and splayed horizontal.
Glass thickness up to 16mm.
Square beads vertical and horizontal.
Glass thickness up to 24mm.
