With a two plus two (BFW2+2) window over fixed lowlights as illustrated left all sashes can be opened or if preferred two open and two closed.
Splayed Beads: The fixed (lowlight) glazing beads are splayed to the outside. This keeps water and dust off the window and significantly improves the appearance.
Security Glazing: Opening panels and fixed lights are security glazed. Captive co-extruded Santoprene glazing wedge on the outside.
'Miro' Hardware: The opening panels are secured with Vantage 'Miro' bolt activators as illustrated left.
Handle
Hinge:
Panels are pulled closed using the custom handle
hinge.
Safety:
The lowlights on transom windows in elevated installations
(i.e. first floor) should be treated as balustrades,
height and glazing to suit.
