Recessed Sill Channel

No Sill: This detail is designed where the customer wants no sill obstruction.

Filler Channel: The recessed sill channel can be fitted with a filler channel when the doors are open to close off the opening.

Sheltered Locations: Doors with this no sill application should only be installed in sheltered locations as the sill won’t keep water out.

Configurations: Type BFD2 illustrated but also available as BFD3, BFD4, BFD2+2, BFD3+1, BFD5, BFD6, BFD3+3, BFD4+2 and BFD5+1.

Installation
Concrete Slab Recess: The size and location of the recess in the floor slab is critical to the correct installation.

Level Floor Finish: The floor finish has to be on the same level both sides (inside and out) as illustrated right.
