AWNING WINDOWS
SoundOUT™ Casement Windows |
For very noisy locations Vantage can offer a range of
SoundOUT™ products that will dramatically reduce the
noise infiltration. In some cases the product may
perform better than the cavity brick wall it’s being built
into. |
Hardware: SoundOUT™ casements are fitted with heavy
duty stainless steel fricton stays and multi point
locking. The sash is double sealed with co-extruded
Santoprene seal. |
Other SoundOUT Products: We can also offer sliding doors and sliding windows in the SoundOUT™ format with test certificates to backup our claims. The SoundOUT™ secondary frame can be coloured to match the main window or a different colour to say match the wall colour as illustrated lower right. |
Performance: The best results are achieved by fitting
the SoundOUT™ casement behind a conventional awning
type window. This product was tested at the National
Acoustics Laboratories, Chatswood, N.S.W. including
standard sliding window and single glazed Series 516
awnings. |
