| Series 517 - 102mm Frame |
Compatibility: Series 517 will couple to all of the other
Vantage 102mm windows and doors. There are many
couplers to allow this window to be joined vertically and
horizontally. Most of these couplers are shown later in
this section. |
Strength: The 102mm Series 517 frame is significantly
stronger than 50mm Series 516, with the added option
of a heavy duty ‘I’ coupler for very tall units similar to the
application right. |
Opening Options: Series 517 can be fabricated as
awnings, casements or fixed lights. On this wider frame
the winder is contained within the frame line, this looks
significantly cleaner. |
Glazing Options: Sashes and accompanying fixed
lights can be single or double glazed. |
Garden Windows: Are only available in Series 516. |
High Performance: Series 517 has been successfully
tested for compliance with Australian Standard AS2047
with a water resistance rating of 450Pa. |
Longreach & Paddington: Series 517 can be fitted
with the ‘Longreach’ frame extender or ‘Paddington’
federation trims. |
