Custom Frame Design

We have designed a special framing system for this door to allow us to fit thick glass and get the high water resistance and appearance required.

Frame Closers: The unwanted perimeter frame recesses inside and outside are closed off with snap-in closers as detailed. This significantly improves the appearance and water resistance.

Custom Building-in Lugs: To support the door frame we have a dedicated height adjustable building-in lug that securely holds the door frame to the brick wall.

Tubular Sump Sills: Water is drained down and out of the system. We offer two sill options the standard 44mm high sill resists 300Pa water and the high performance 50mm high sill will resist 450pa water.

Thresholds: The flat external thresholds drain surface water and dust off the door sill and create a flat easy access sill detail.

Protected Running Rails: The door running rails are recessed into the sill for protection. This ensures that doors will slide smoothly for years to come.
